DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE
Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, Which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka
MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK
Minneriya National Park is in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12th August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The reason for declaring the area as protected is to protect the catchment of Minneriya tank and the wildlife of the surrounding area. The tank is of historical importance, having been built by King Mahasen in third century AD. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts. The park earned revenue of Rs. 10.7 million in the six months ending in August 2009.[2] Along with Kaudulla and Girithale, Minneriya forms one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) of Sri Lanka.The park is situated 182 kilometres (113 mi) from Colombo.
SIGIRIYA- LION ROCK
Sigiriya was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning. It is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.
KANDY CITY TOUR /THE TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC /CULTURAL SHOW
Kandy is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
PERADENIYA BOTANICAL GARDEN
Royal Botanical Garden - garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall. It is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture
