DAY 01 – SCENIC HIGHLANDS JOURNEY, GEM CITY & HAPUTALE ESCAPE
- Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport
- Warm welcome and meet & greet by the Let’s See Asia representative at the arrival lobby
- Journey to Haputale
- Proceed to Haputale, a picturesque hill country destination surrounded by misty mountains, lush tea plantations, and breathtaking landscapes.
- Gem City Experience – Ratnapura
- En route, visit Ratnapura, famously known as the “Gem City” of Sri Lanka.
- Explore traditional gemstone mines and a gemological museum to discover the fascinating world of Sri Lanka’s precious stones, including sapphires, rubies, and many other rare gems. Witness the traditional processes of gemstone mining, cutting, and polishing that have made Sri Lanka world-renowned for its gemstones.
- Visit Bambarakanda Falls
- Continue the scenic journey while enjoying spectacular mountain landscapes and visit Bambarakanda Falls, the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka, cascading beautifully amidst lush natural surroundings.
- Arrival in Haputale
- Upon arrival in Haputale, check in at the hotel and relax while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and cool climate of Sri Lanka’s hill country.

DAY 02 – DEVIL’S STAIRCASE ADVENTURE & ELLA SCENIC WONDERS
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Morning – Explore the Legendary Devil’s Staircase
- Proceed to experience the breathtaking Devil's Staircase, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous off-road mountain routes.
- Enjoy spectacular views of misty mountains, lush tea plantations, valleys, waterfalls, and rugged landscapes while travelling through this thrilling scenic trail known for its sharp bends and dramatic hill country scenery.
- Visit Little Adam’s Peak
- Later, proceed to Little Adam's Peak, one of Ella’s most popular hiking destinations, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the famous Ella Gap.
- Explore the Iconic Nine Arches Bridge
- Continue to visit the world-famous Nine Arches Bridge, a stunning colonial-era railway bridge surrounded by lush greenery and tea plantations.
- Return to Haputale
- After completing the excursions, return to the hotel and relax amidst the peaceful hill country surroundings.

DAY 03 – HORTON PLAINS TREKKING & SCENIC WATERFALL JOURNEY
- Early Morning – Horton Plains National Park
- Begin the day with an early morning excursion to Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most breathtaking natural attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Travel along scenic mountain roads surrounded by misty hills, tea plantations, and spectacular landscapes.
- Breakfast packets will be arranged by the hotel before departure
- Trek Through the Plains & Visit World’s End
- Enjoy a refreshing nature trek through cloud forests and open grasslands while experiencing the cool climate and unique biodiversity of Sri Lanka’s central highlands.
- During the trek, visit the famous World's End, a dramatic cliff offering breathtaking panoramic views stretching across the southern plains of Sri Lanka.
- Scenic Waterfall Experience
- On the return journey, witness two of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful waterfalls: Devon Falls, St. Clair's Falls
- Enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, lush tea estates, and misty mountain landscapes along the route.
- Transfer to Colombo & Departure
- After completing the excursion, proceed to Colombo and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.

DEVIL’S STAIRCASE
The Devil’s Staircase is an almost 14 km route from the Horton Plains road in Ohiya going down through tea estates to Kalupahana on the main A4 road. The track through the Devils Staircase is one of the most popular hiking and jeep tracks in the hills of Sri Lanka. The difficulty levels and the spectacular view of the green mountains of Sri Lanka has made this a hikers paradise but only the most ardent hikers will undertake this 13 km hike.
